A floor that was properly profiled and correctly specified stands up to vehicle traffic, hot tires, impact, and routine chemical contact for years. What shortens service life is almost always inadequate preparation or a system that did not match the conditions. Maintenance is sweeping and periodic wet cleaning.
It gets identified before anything is applied. Moisture vapor moving upward will lift a coating that was not built for it. Where testing shows elevated readings, a moisture-mitigating primer or vapor barrier system is specified rather than a standard build.
