USA Epoxy Floors manages epoxy floor removal in Kent by extracting resin and epoxy coatings through industrial grinding and stripping, leaving the slab fully open and clean for a new surface or contractor follow-up.
In Kent, the epoxy floor removal process begins with an evaluation by George Tsinias, owner of USA Epoxy Floors, who checks coating composition, thickness, surface issues, and any previous repairs. Moisture and hidden adhesives in older Kent buildings are tested for before the right extraction method is chosen. The removal application uses commercial-grade grinders, diamond tooling, shot blasting, or scraping equipment as needed for the resin’s strength and bond. Large-scale buildups in industrial or commercial Kent settings are broken down with scarifiers when required. Coatings, adhesives, and repairs are fully eliminated, returning the surface to open concrete. Upon completion, the surface is cleaned, vacuumed, and assessed to ensure nothing remains to interfere with recoating or other installations. USA Epoxy Floors confirms the work area is ready for new epoxy, decorative concrete finish, tile application, or next-phase handoff, supporting both residential and commercial construction schedules in Kent.
Epoxy floor removal in Kent is completed with advanced grinders, scarifiers, or shot blasters that match the slab and resin conditions. All techniques are designed to restore bare concrete, ensuring what comes next in Kent can start with a clean surface.
Before epoxy removal in Kent, George Tsinias inspects each site, searching for hidden repairs, adhesives, or secondary coatings. This owner-led review means the right method is used, and problems aren’t carried over into future phases.
After mechanical stripping, USA Epoxy Floors ensures the Kent slab is swept, detailed, and profiled for next-use compatibility. This speeds up transition to new flooring, alternative trades, or ongoing renovation without additional cleaning.

More About Us
Yes. USA Epoxy Floors handles Epoxy Floor Removal throughout Kent and the surrounding Dutchess County area. The scope is set after the floor is walked and the slab condition is assessed, so the quote reflects the actual job rather than a generic package.
Work starts with inspecting the slab and testing for moisture where conditions call for it. The surface is mechanically prepared by diamond grinding or shot blasting, damage is repaired, and the coating system is applied in sequence with cure time between coats. The floor is walked through with you at completion.
Most residential-scale work is a one to two day install with cure time before the floor takes traffic. Larger floors and slabs needing significant repair run longer. Polyaspartic topcoats shorten the return to service. Timing specific to your floor is covered at the estimate.
Most structurally sound concrete is. Cracks, pitting, spalling, and existing coatings are handled during preparation. Slabs with active moisture movement are tested first and specified accordingly. If a floor is not a good candidate, you will be told that during the walkthrough.
Mechanical profiling, diamond grinding or shot blasting, so the coating keys into the concrete rather than resting on it. This is the step that determines whether a floor holds. Acid etching alone does not produce a reliable profile and is not used in place of it.

“4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!”
“We are so happy to have discovered George Tsinias. He is an old school artisan and gentleman who takes pride in his work, takes every issue seriously, answers every question, and is a meticulous workman. The garage floor he did for us is stunning. He is humble, fun, courteous, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about adjacent trades and competent in several of them. I am delighted to give him the highest recommendation and look forward to referring him to friends and to using him again.”
