George Tsinias evaluates both site and style before any recommendation. The end result is a visually distinctive, technically robust epoxy floor for Esopus buildings.
For Esopus properties, USA Epoxy Floors begins epoxy floor design with a comprehensive evaluation by George Tsinias, including substrate testing, environmental analysis, and a detailed discussion of design goals. He reviews any slab repairs, moisture issues, or old coatings present in Esopus sites, ensuring technical factors are considered early. The planning step combines aesthetic choices (such as metallic pigment blends, flake, or quartz) with the right system, selecting the ideal topcoat, aggregate, and process for the property’s real use and safety needs. Preparation techniques like diamond grinding set the foundation. All finish decisions and sample demonstrations are delivered by the owner. After system planning, clients receive a work plan and quote, with mockups on request. Installation is then managed from substrate prep to final cure by George himself, supporting each Esopus floor merges visual intent with required performance and durable finish standards.
Epoxy floor design for Esopus considers use, environment, and visual preference together. George Tsinias selects decorative materials and resin types so that the finished floor meets daily needs, safety, and appearance, all tailored to Esopus conditions and property type.

More About Us
Yes. Epoxy Floor Design is part of the regular service range across Esopus and Ulster County. USA Epoxy Floors is based in Fishkill, family operated and veteran owned, and travels throughout the area for this work.
A floor that was properly profiled and correctly specified stands up to vehicle traffic, hot tires, impact, and routine chemical contact for years. What shortens service life is almost always inadequate preparation or a system that did not match the conditions. Maintenance is sweeping and periodic wet cleaning.
It gets identified before anything is applied. Moisture vapor moving upward will lift a coating that was not built for it. Where testing shows elevated readings, a moisture-mitigating primer or vapor barrier system is specified rather than a standard build.
The floor area needs to be clear for grinding and application. Vehicles, shelving, and stored items come out ahead of the crew. On larger commercial floors the work can often be sectioned so part of the space stays operational.
Solid color, decorative flake broadcast, quartz, and metallic systems. Flake adds texture underfoot and conceals minor slab imperfections. Industrial floors often run solid color for visibility and cleaning. Samples are reviewed on site during the walkthrough.

“4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!”
