USA Epoxy Floors provides floor finishing in Torrington, beginning with in-depth substrate cleaning, repairing visible flaws, and applying a high-quality topcoat or sealer. This process renews and protects residential, commercial, and industrial spaces in Torrington with a consistent, tailored finish.
In Torrington, George Tsinias of USA Epoxy Floors inspects every floor on-site before deciding how to approach finishing. The floor is checked for old coatings, cracks, stains, or dust that might interrupt adhesion or cause finish defects. Detailed cleaning, debris removal, or crack patching is carried out as needed to stabilize and level the substrate. The finishing system selected for each Torrington project depends on traffic, purpose, and environment, ranging from industrial-strength resinous topcoats with slip-resistant additives to decorative sealers or penetrants for dust-proofing and stain defense. Application choices are guided by how the property operates day-to-day. Compatibility with any existing coatings is verified in advance, preventing peeling or bonding issues. At completion, the project finishes with a customer walkthrough to confirm uniform sheen and appearance. Finished floors in Torrington and across Litchfield County achieve improved resistance to damage and stains while matching aesthetic and use requirements set for that Connecticut property.

More About Us
Yes. USA Epoxy Floors handles Floor Finishing throughout Torrington and the surrounding Litchfield County area. The scope is set after the floor is walked and the slab condition is assessed, so the quote reflects the actual job rather than a generic package.
Work starts with inspecting the slab and testing for moisture where conditions call for it. The surface is mechanically prepared by diamond grinding or shot blasting, damage is repaired, and the coating system is applied in sequence with cure time between coats. The floor is walked through with you at completion.
Most residential-scale work is a one to two day install with cure time before the floor takes traffic. Larger floors and slabs needing significant repair run longer. Polyaspartic topcoats shorten the return to service. Timing specific to your floor is covered at the estimate.
Most structurally sound concrete is. Cracks, pitting, spalling, and existing coatings are handled during preparation. Slabs with active moisture movement are tested first and specified accordingly. If a floor is not a good candidate, you will be told that during the walkthrough.
Mechanical profiling, diamond grinding or shot blasting, so the coating keys into the concrete rather than resting on it. This is the step that determines whether a floor holds. Acid etching alone does not produce a reliable profile and is not used in place of it.

“4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!”
