Epoxy floor resurfacing from USA Epoxy Floors in Rosendale rebuilds failed or worn resin floors by removing unsound material, profiling the surface for new adhesion, and installing a fresh resinous system. The process avoids full replacement. The result is a seamless, high-performance floor that looks and functions like a complete new install.
Each project in Rosendale begins with George Tsinias of USA Epoxy Floors assessing bond failures, moisture drive, and previous coating issues found in local properties. He maps all defects, tests slab moisture, and evaluates which areas are suitable for resurfacing versus those needing removal. Critical defects and cracks in Rosendale buildings are patched using compatible compounds for a stable repair. Mechanical preparation uses diamond grinders with industrial dust extraction to profile the surface and remove all delaminated or weak resin. Special attention is given to expansion joints, transitions, and repair spots to achieve a consistent base. This preparation step is measured for profile and cleaned to ensure the new resin will chemically bond. New system installation follows: moisture barrier or primer, base coat, optional decorative media or slip-resistant finishes, and a final high-build topcoat tailored for Rosendale’s operational demands. George inspects the finished result, confirming uniform coverage, restoration of prior failures, and a floor matched for the property’s real use. Floors are renewed without the mess and cost of demolition.
USA Epoxy Floors delivers resurfacing for Rosendale floors where the substrate remains stable and only the upper resin system needs overhaul. This method focuses on mechanical prep and repair, offering customers a cost-effective path to a floor that performs like new, without full tear-out or extended downtime.
In Rosendale, George handles recurring issues from previous retail kit failures, wear-and-tear, or bond problems by grinding away every unsound layer and building up a strong new resin surface. Each problem area is eliminated at its root, providing a solution that corrects both cause and symptom.
USA Epoxy Floors specifies resurfacing systems in Rosendale based on actual use, industrial-grade for shops, anti-slip variants for commercial kitchens, and decorative options for garages. Every system and finish are selected to match what the environment demands, delivering renewed aesthetics and lasting utility.

More About Us
Yes. Epoxy Floor Resurfacing is part of the regular service range across Rosendale and Ulster County. USA Epoxy Floors is based in Fishkill, family operated and veteran owned, and travels throughout the area for this work.
A floor that was properly profiled and correctly specified stands up to vehicle traffic, hot tires, impact, and routine chemical contact for years. What shortens service life is almost always inadequate preparation or a system that did not match the conditions. Maintenance is sweeping and periodic wet cleaning.
It gets identified before anything is applied. Moisture vapor moving upward will lift a coating that was not built for it. Where testing shows elevated readings, a moisture-mitigating primer or vapor barrier system is specified rather than a standard build.
The floor area needs to be clear for grinding and application. Vehicles, shelving, and stored items come out ahead of the crew. On larger commercial floors the work can often be sectioned so part of the space stays operational.
Solid color, decorative flake broadcast, quartz, and metallic systems. Flake adds texture underfoot and conceals minor slab imperfections. Industrial floors often run solid color for visibility and cleaning. Samples are reviewed on site during the walkthrough.

“4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!”
“We are so happy to have discovered George Tsinias. He is an old school artisan and gentleman who takes pride in his work, takes every issue seriously, answers every question, and is a meticulous workman. The garage floor he did for us is stunning. He is humble, fun, courteous, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about adjacent trades and competent in several of them. I am delighted to give him the highest recommendation and look forward to referring him to friends and to using him again.”
