Epoxy floor design in Plattekill by USA Epoxy Floors means planning color, texture, system, and finish with expert process guidance. George Tsinias evaluates each space and develops a floor plan that supports both style and function. The customer receives a fully thought-out, purpose-built epoxy floor.
Epoxy floor design for Plattekill starts with a site inspection and substrate analysis by George Tsinias of USA Epoxy Floors. He checks for slab moisture, pre-existing coatings, cracks, and validates what environment the floor will face, residential, commercial, or industrial. The design stage covers appearance options (metallic, flake, solid color, quartz) and technical requirements such as anti-slip rating, UV protection, or chemical resistance. George then plans a system that includes the proper concrete preparation method (diamond grinding to reach the correct CSP), repair and leveling, primer selection, decorative materials, and protective topcoat. All choices are grounded in the real conditions and design vision for the Plattekill property. The customer receives a detailed quote and, if requested, a physical sample or mockup. The process ends with a purpose-built floor, style, color, and finish all coordinated to the use of the space, installed and inspected by the same person who designed it.
Epoxy floor design for Plattekill means more than color. USA Epoxy Floors specifies broadcast, pigments, and aggregate based on the type of use: homes, showrooms, or industrial spaces. George’s hands-on approach ensures each design is not only visually correct but structurally and functionally matched for Plattekill conditions.
George Tsinias, owner of USA Epoxy Floors, guides every Plattekill customer from their initial vision to the completed design. On-site consultations, finish samples, and system clarifications ensure the solution fits the space. The same expert handles the design, quote, and manages the install, no middlemen or miscommunication.
USA Epoxy Floors incorporates technical needs like slip resistance, durability, and chemical tolerance into the design stage for Plattekill properties. George selects materials and installation sequences to deliver both the visual style and the system performance the floor will face, whatever the environment.

More About Us
Yes. USA Epoxy Floors handles Epoxy Floor Design throughout Plattekill and the surrounding Ulster County area. The scope is set after the floor is walked and the slab condition is assessed, so the quote reflects the actual job rather than a generic package.
Work starts with inspecting the slab and testing for moisture where conditions call for it. The surface is mechanically prepared by diamond grinding or shot blasting, damage is repaired, and the coating system is applied in sequence with cure time between coats. The floor is walked through with you at completion.
Most residential-scale work is a one to two day install with cure time before the floor takes traffic. Larger floors and slabs needing significant repair run longer. Polyaspartic topcoats shorten the return to service. Timing specific to your floor is covered at the estimate.
Most structurally sound concrete is. Cracks, pitting, spalling, and existing coatings are handled during preparation. Slabs with active moisture movement are tested first and specified accordingly. If a floor is not a good candidate, you will be told that during the walkthrough.
Mechanical profiling, diamond grinding or shot blasting, so the coating keys into the concrete rather than resting on it. This is the step that determines whether a floor holds. Acid etching alone does not produce a reliable profile and is not used in place of it.

“4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!”
“We are so happy to have discovered George Tsinias. He is an old school artisan and gentleman who takes pride in his work, takes every issue seriously, answers every question, and is a meticulous workman. The garage floor he did for us is stunning. He is humble, fun, courteous, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about adjacent trades and competent in several of them. I am delighted to give him the highest recommendation and look forward to referring him to friends and to using him again.”
