USA Epoxy Floors manages epoxy floor removal in Phoenicia by extracting resin and epoxy coatings through industrial grinding and stripping, leaving the slab fully open and clean for a new surface or contractor follow-up.
In Phoenicia, the epoxy floor removal process begins with an evaluation by George Tsinias, owner of USA Epoxy Floors, who checks coating composition, thickness, surface issues, and any previous repairs. Moisture and hidden adhesives in older Phoenicia buildings are tested for before the right extraction method is chosen. The removal application uses commercial-grade grinders, diamond tooling, shot blasting, or scraping equipment as needed for the resin’s strength and bond. Large-scale buildups in industrial or commercial Phoenicia settings are broken down with scarifiers when required. Coatings, adhesives, and repairs are fully eliminated, returning the surface to open concrete. Upon completion, the surface is cleaned, vacuumed, and assessed to ensure nothing remains to interfere with recoating or other installations. USA Epoxy Floors confirms the work area is ready for new epoxy, decorative concrete finish, tile application, or next-phase handoff, supporting both residential and commercial construction schedules in Phoenicia.
Epoxy floor removal in Phoenicia is completed with advanced grinders, scarifiers, or shot blasters that match the slab and resin conditions. All techniques are designed to restore bare concrete, ensuring what comes next in Phoenicia can start with a clean surface.
Before epoxy removal in Phoenicia, George Tsinias inspects each site, searching for hidden repairs, adhesives, or secondary coatings. This owner-led review means the right method is used, and problems aren’t carried over into future phases.
After mechanical stripping, USA Epoxy Floors ensures the Phoenicia slab is swept, detailed, and profiled for next-use compatibility. This speeds up transition to new flooring, alternative trades, or ongoing renovation without additional cleaning.

More About Us
Yes. Phoenicia and communities across Ulster County, New York. USA Epoxy Floors has been doing this work since 2001 and travels throughout the region for it, residential and commercial alike.
The space is cleared, the slab is inspected and profiled mechanically, repairs go in, and the coating system is applied in stages. Cure windows between coats are part of the schedule, not delays. At the end the floor is walked through together before the job closes.
Usually. The existing coating comes off mechanically, and the slab underneath is inspected to identify why the previous system failed. Poor preparation and moisture vapor account for most failures. The cause is addressed before a new system goes down.
It depends on the floor. Epoxy builds thicker and bonds deep; polyaspartic cures quickly, tolerates colder installs, and resists UV yellowing. Many jobs use an epoxy base under a polyaspartic topcoat. The specification follows the slab inspection, the moisture readings, and how the space is used.
Frequently. Polyaspartic chemistry cures across a wider temperature range than standard epoxy, which makes cold-weather work viable in many unheated Phoenicia spaces. Substrate temperature is the controlling factor and gets checked before scheduling.

“4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!”
