We install quartz and broadcast aggregate systems for traction, place integral cove base for seamless transitions, and select waterproofing strategies to control moisture. Yes. Throughout Old Hill and the surrounding Fairfield County, Connecticut area. USA Epoxy Floors has been coating floors since 2001 and handles Pool Area work regularly across the region.
That follows from the conditions. Epoxy builds thicker and bonds deeply; polyaspartic cures faster, installs across a wider temperature range, and resists UV yellowing. Many Pool Area floors run an epoxy base with a polyaspartic topcoat. The slab inspection determines it.
Moisture vapor moving up through concrete lifts coatings that were not specified for it. Where a Pool Area shows signs of dampness, the slab gets tested before a system is selected, and a moisture-mitigating primer or vapor barrier build goes in where readings call for it.
Solid colors, decorative flake, quartz, and metallic systems are all options. Flake broadcast adds texture underfoot and hides minor slab imperfections, which suits high-traffic areas. Samples are reviewed during the walkthrough against the actual space.
Yes. The floor has to be clear for grinding and application, so anything stored in the Pool Area moves out before work begins. On larger spaces the job can often be staged in sections.

“4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!”
“We are so happy to have discovered George Tsinias. He is an old school artisan and gentleman who takes pride in his work, takes every issue seriously, answers every question, and is a meticulous workman. The garage floor he did for us is stunning. He is humble, fun, courteous, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about adjacent trades and competent in several of them. I am delighted to give him the highest recommendation and look forward to referring him to friends and to using him again.”
