In Monticello, concrete staining by USA Epoxy Floors uses penetrating stains that become part of the slab itself. After mechanical cleaning or grinding, acid or water-based stains deliver natural coloration and custom finish. The result is a durable, richly colored concrete floor unique to each project.
Concrete staining in Monticello starts with detailed surface testing to identify any sealers or residue. USA Epoxy Floors removes anything that might block stain with cleaning, chemical treatment, or diamond abrasion, critical for older or previously coated slabs in Monticello. An acid stain is used for earthy, organic variation, reacting directly with concrete minerals and bringing out mottled, layered coloration in properties across Ulster County. Water-based stains produce a broad range of tones and allow layering, blending, or patterning as requested for both residential and commercial spaces. Custom sawcuts or taped borders offer flexibility for design preferences. Following staining, acid-stained floors are neutralized and rinsed, then the area is allowed to dry before a sealer locks in color and increases resistance to surface wear. Finished floors in Monticello deliver visual depth and practical longevity whether installed in homes, professional spaces, or high-traffic settings.
For lasting color in Monticello, USA Epoxy Floors prepares concrete with grinding or abrasion before stain application. Penetrating stains infuse color deep inside the slab, making the effect resistant to traffic and cleaning routines. The result: durable floors without peeling or chipping.
Every stained floor in Monticello is unique. Acid stains result in unpredictable mottled visuals, while water-based stains can be controlled for even layers or intricate blending. USA Epoxy Floors adds creative patterns, color borders, or scored lines, options valued by both homeowners and facility managers in Ulster County.
Prior to staining in Monticello, USA Epoxy Floors checks the slab for sealers, adhesives, and coatings that block absorption. George applies specialized cleaning or abrasion so the stain reacts uniformly across the surface. This process ensures the final color remains consistent and accurate in every project.

More About Us
Yes. Concrete Staining is part of the regular service range across Monticello and Ulster County. USA Epoxy Floors is based in Fishkill, family operated and veteran owned, and travels throughout the area for this work.
A floor that was properly profiled and correctly specified stands up to vehicle traffic, hot tires, impact, and routine chemical contact for years. What shortens service life is almost always inadequate preparation or a system that did not match the conditions. Maintenance is sweeping and periodic wet cleaning.
It gets identified before anything is applied. Moisture vapor moving upward will lift a coating that was not built for it. Where testing shows elevated readings, a moisture-mitigating primer or vapor barrier system is specified rather than a standard build.
The floor area needs to be clear for grinding and application. Vehicles, shelving, and stored items come out ahead of the crew. On larger commercial floors the work can often be sectioned so part of the space stays operational.
Solid color, decorative flake broadcast, quartz, and metallic systems. Flake adds texture underfoot and conceals minor slab imperfections. Industrial floors often run solid color for visibility and cleaning. Samples are reviewed on site during the walkthrough.

“4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!”
“We are so happy to have discovered George Tsinias. He is an old school artisan and gentleman who takes pride in his work, takes every issue seriously, answers every question, and is a meticulous workman. The garage floor he did for us is stunning. He is humble, fun, courteous, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about adjacent trades and competent in several of them. I am delighted to give him the highest recommendation and look forward to referring him to friends and to using him again.”
