USA Epoxy Floors provides floor finishing in Hurley, cleaning and repairing the surface before applying a protective topcoat or sealer. This treatment improves durability, controls sheen, and achieves a uniform, clean look for homes, businesses, and facilities in Hurley.
George Tsinias, owner of USA Epoxy Floors, evaluates each floor in Hurley to check for stains, debris, cracks, and failed coatings before beginning any finishing work. Preparation may involve dust extraction, patching, and stain treatment to give the sealer or topcoat a sound foundation. The company applies the selected finishing system, ranging from clear sealers for dust-proofing to high-wear resinous topcoats for commercial and industrial settings. Application methods, dry times, and material choices are all targeted to the floor’s daily use in Hurley. Floors with existing coatings are assessed for compatibility and adhesion, ensuring no layer fails underneath the new finish. The project finishes with a walkthrough and inspection, verifying uniformity and performance. Finished floors gain improved appearance, stain protection, and a consistent sheen, matte, satin, or gloss, suited for the building type and environment in Hurley and Ulster County, New York.
Before applying any finish in Hurley, USA Epoxy Floors thoroughly cleans and repairs the floor, addressing cracks, stains, and prior coating residue. George inspects the surface for issues that could affect adhesion or appearance, ensuring the final layer is both strong and even throughout the Hurley property.

More About Us
Yes. USA Epoxy Floors handles Floor Finishing throughout Hurley and the surrounding Ulster County area. The scope is set after the floor is walked and the slab condition is assessed, so the quote reflects the actual job rather than a generic package.
Work starts with inspecting the slab and testing for moisture where conditions call for it. The surface is mechanically prepared by diamond grinding or shot blasting, damage is repaired, and the coating system is applied in sequence with cure time between coats. The floor is walked through with you at completion.
Most residential-scale work is a one to two day install with cure time before the floor takes traffic. Larger floors and slabs needing significant repair run longer. Polyaspartic topcoats shorten the return to service. Timing specific to your floor is covered at the estimate.
Most structurally sound concrete is. Cracks, pitting, spalling, and existing coatings are handled during preparation. Slabs with active moisture movement are tested first and specified accordingly. If a floor is not a good candidate, you will be told that during the walkthrough.
Mechanical profiling, diamond grinding or shot blasting, so the coating keys into the concrete rather than resting on it. This is the step that determines whether a floor holds. Acid etching alone does not produce a reliable profile and is not used in place of it.

“4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!”
