USA Epoxy Floors has provided car wash flooring solutions in Highland, New York for car wash operators and owners, bringing mechanical surface preparation, moisture correction, concrete repair, epoxy and resinous system installation, and slip-resistant safety finishes for over 25 years. Our projects span wash bays, tunnels, prepping and drying stations, equipment spaces, and customer-access zones, each with its own performance needs and technical approach.
Car wash properties impose frequent cycles of water, cleaning agents, degreasers, tire marks, chemical splash, and non-stop vehicle and staff traffic. Wash bay floors must direct water to drains, take ongoing impact, and remain secure even when constantly wet. Equipment areas guard against mechanical load and caustic chemical runoff, while lobbies and corridors require finishes that retain traction and withstand public use.
Our approach in Highland is to anticipate and control these car wash flooring conditions from the ground up. We start by mechanically profiling floors with grinders or shot blasters, clearing away worn layers and preparing for fresh materials. Each crack, joint, or moisture area is examined and addressed with patching and vapor solutions where necessary. Wet areas typically receive seamless resinous assemblies with integral cove base and slip-resistant textures, while staff and customer sections benefit from durable, easy-to-clean surfaces. Our experience with installation, restoration, and repair in Highland allows us to match precisely the right material and finish to each environment inside the car wash and keep it ready for constant operation.

Yes. USA Epoxy Floors handles Car Wash floor coating throughout Highland and across Ulster County. Build thickness, chemical resistance, and slip rating are matched to how that kind of space actually gets used.
Traffic type and load, chemical exposure, cleaning regime, temperature range, and slip requirements all differ by property type. A Car Wash gets a system specified against those conditions rather than a general-purpose build applied everywhere.
It depends on square footage, slab condition, and the system selected. Polyaspartic topcoats return a floor to service considerably faster than standard epoxy. For Car Wash spaces that cannot fully shut down, the work is often staged in sections so part of the operation keeps running.
In most cases, yes. Sectioning the floor lets a Car Wash in Highland keep functioning while the coating progresses area by area. The sequence is planned during the walkthrough around your schedule.
The slab is mechanically profiled, diamond grinding or shot blasting, so the coating keys into the concrete. Cracks, joints, and damaged areas are repaired first, and slabs showing moisture are tested before a system is specified.

“4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!”
