USA Epoxy Floors manages epoxy floor removal in High Falls by extracting resin and epoxy coatings through industrial grinding and stripping, leaving the slab fully open and clean for a new surface or contractor follow-up.
In High Falls, the epoxy floor removal process begins with an evaluation by George Tsinias, owner of USA Epoxy Floors, who checks coating composition, thickness, surface issues, and any previous repairs. Moisture and hidden adhesives in older High Falls buildings are tested for before the right extraction method is chosen. The removal application uses commercial-grade grinders, diamond tooling, shot blasting, or scraping equipment as needed for the resin’s strength and bond. Large-scale buildups in industrial or commercial High Falls settings are broken down with scarifiers when required. Coatings, adhesives, and repairs are fully eliminated, returning the surface to open concrete. Upon completion, the surface is cleaned, vacuumed, and assessed to ensure nothing remains to interfere with recoating or other installations. USA Epoxy Floors confirms the work area is ready for new epoxy, decorative concrete finish, tile application, or next-phase handoff, supporting both residential and commercial construction schedules in High Falls.
Epoxy floor removal in High Falls is completed with advanced grinders, scarifiers, or shot blasters that match the slab and resin conditions. All techniques are designed to restore bare concrete, ensuring what comes next in High Falls can start with a clean surface.
Before epoxy removal in High Falls, George Tsinias inspects each site, searching for hidden repairs, adhesives, or secondary coatings. This owner-led review means the right method is used, and problems aren’t carried over into future phases.
After mechanical stripping, USA Epoxy Floors ensures the High Falls slab is swept, detailed, and profiled for next-use compatibility. This speeds up transition to new flooring, alternative trades, or ongoing renovation without additional cleaning.

More About Us
Yes. Epoxy Floor Removal is part of the regular service range across High Falls and Ulster County. USA Epoxy Floors is based in Fishkill, family operated and veteran owned, and travels throughout the area for this work.
A floor that was properly profiled and correctly specified stands up to vehicle traffic, hot tires, impact, and routine chemical contact for years. What shortens service life is almost always inadequate preparation or a system that did not match the conditions. Maintenance is sweeping and periodic wet cleaning.
It gets identified before anything is applied. Moisture vapor moving upward will lift a coating that was not built for it. Where testing shows elevated readings, a moisture-mitigating primer or vapor barrier system is specified rather than a standard build.
The floor area needs to be clear for grinding and application. Vehicles, shelving, and stored items come out ahead of the crew. On larger commercial floors the work can often be sectioned so part of the space stays operational.
Solid color, decorative flake broadcast, quartz, and metallic systems. Flake adds texture underfoot and conceals minor slab imperfections. Industrial floors often run solid color for visibility and cleaning. Samples are reviewed on site during the walkthrough.

“4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!”
