For Ellenville properties, USA Epoxy Floors begins epoxy floor design with a comprehensive evaluation by George Tsinias, including substrate testing, environmental analysis, and a detailed discussion of design goals. He reviews any slab repairs, moisture issues, or old coatings present in Ellenville sites, ensuring technical factors are considered early. The planning step combines aesthetic choices (such as metallic pigment blends, flake, or quartz) with the right system, selecting the ideal topcoat, aggregate, and process for the property’s real use and safety needs. Preparation techniques like diamond grinding set the foundation. All finish decisions and sample demonstrations are delivered by the owner. After system planning, clients receive a work plan and quote, with mockups on request. Installation is then managed from substrate prep to final cure by George himself, supporting each Ellenville floor merges visual intent with required performance and durable finish standards.
Epoxy floor design for Ellenville considers use, environment, and visual preference together. George Tsinias selects decorative materials and resin types so that the finished floor meets daily needs, safety, and appearance, all tailored to Ellenville conditions and property type.

More About Us
Yes. Ellenville and communities across Ulster County, New York. USA Epoxy Floors has been doing this work since 2001 and travels throughout the region for it, residential and commercial alike.
The space is cleared, the slab is inspected and profiled mechanically, repairs go in, and the coating system is applied in stages. Cure windows between coats are part of the schedule, not delays. At the end the floor is walked through together before the job closes.
Usually. The existing coating comes off mechanically, and the slab underneath is inspected to identify why the previous system failed. Poor preparation and moisture vapor account for most failures. The cause is addressed before a new system goes down.
It depends on the floor. Epoxy builds thicker and bonds deep; polyaspartic cures quickly, tolerates colder installs, and resists UV yellowing. Many jobs use an epoxy base under a polyaspartic topcoat. The specification follows the slab inspection, the moisture readings, and how the space is used.
Frequently. Polyaspartic chemistry cures across a wider temperature range than standard epoxy, which makes cold-weather work viable in many unheated Ellenville spaces. Substrate temperature is the controlling factor and gets checked before scheduling.

“4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!”
