USA Epoxy Floors has delivered pool area flooring solutions in Chelsea Cove, New York for property owners, including substrate preparation, waterproofing system installation, slip-resistant resin coatings, and cove base construction, for more than 25 years. The process covers mechanical grinding of concrete, crack and defect repair, addition of vapor barriers, drainage integration, and application of durable broadcast floors formed to withstand wet, high-traffic conditions.
Floors in pool areas require continuous slip resistance, resilience against chemical and moisture attack, and smooth integration with walls and drains for cleanability. Pool decks and surrounding spaces need to repel standing water and eliminate places where bacteria and mold can accumulate, with surface textures that help prevent slips.
Our extensive experience with installation, repair, and restoration in Chelsea Cove means we address pool area flooring with careful evaluation and the right materials every time. We install quartz and broadcast aggregate systems for traction, place integral cove base for seamless transitions, and select waterproofing strategies to control moisture. Every pool area floor receives tailored preparation for long-term safety, resilience, and easy cleaning in spaces exposed to water and daily activity.

Yes. Pool Area coating is part of the regular range across Chelsea Cove and Dutchess County. The company is based in Fishkill, family operated and veteran owned, and travels throughout the region for this work.
Properly prepared and correctly specified, it takes years of traffic, impact, and routine chemical contact. Service life comes down to preparation quality and whether the system matched the conditions. Upkeep is sweeping and periodic wet cleaning.
Often, yes. Polyaspartic and polyurea cure across a wider temperature range than standard epoxy, which opens up winter installs in many unheated Chelsea Cove spaces. Substrate temperature governs, so each space is checked before scheduling.
Cracks, pitting, and spalling are repaired as part of preparation. Structural issues that go beyond surface repair are flagged during the walkthrough rather than coated over, a coating does not fix a slab problem underneath it.
Slip resistance is specified deliberately. Broadcast flake and quartz systems add texture, and anti-slip additives can be worked into the topcoat where the area calls for it. The right level depends on how the Pool Area is used.
George Tsinias, the owner, estimates and works every job personally from walkthrough to final inspection. USA Epoxy Floors has been operating since 2001. Call or text (845) 464-2539 to get on the schedule in Chelsea Cove.

“4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!”
“We are so happy to have discovered George Tsinias. He is an old school artisan and gentleman who takes pride in his work, takes every issue seriously, answers every question, and is a meticulous workman. The garage floor he did for us is stunning. He is humble, fun, courteous, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about adjacent trades and competent in several of them. I am delighted to give him the highest recommendation and look forward to referring him to friends and to using him again.”
