USA Epoxy Floors resolves uneven concrete in Candlewood Isle by combining targeted grinding and expert use of leveling compounds for a continuous, true surface. This method produces a slab ready for coatings, decorative treatments, or flooring in any Litchfield County project.
For Candlewood Isle, every concrete floor leveling job with USA Epoxy Floors is guided by a thorough slab inspection using laser equipment and measuring tools to record high and low points. George Tsinias, owner of USA Epoxy Floors, personally checks for previous patches and moisture, adapting the process for older Litchfield County buildings where substrate repairs and settling are typical. Using commercial diamond grinders, the company flattens ridges and humps, then fills all low sections with patch compounds or self-leveling underlayments chosen for the future flooring’s requirements. Patching and leveling progress until the entire floor matches the intended plane, with additional troweling or re-grinding for seamless transitions as needed. In Candlewood Isle's commercial spaces and homes, this provides the solid base essential for any coating, tile, or polished finish. Final pass includes surface cleanup, joint detailing, and verification of level, pitch, and smoothness. USA Epoxy Floors delivers a ready-for-finish substrate with process documentation, ensuring no installation surprises and flawless results for all types of flooring systems in Litchfield County.
Commercial grinders with diamond tooling are used in Candlewood Isle by USA Epoxy Floors to aggressively remove excess height and shape the proper profile for adhesion. This step supports both a level surface and an optimal bond for future primers or patches, which is key for floor stability in Litchfield County's high-use environments.
George analyzes the Candlewood Isle slab’s needs and uses self-leveling or engineered patch materials matched to floor type and thickness, ensuring even finishing and no differential settling. This attention to compatibility is essential for uniformity in Litchfield County installations with high-visibility or high-load demands.
George Tsinias leads the evaluation of every Candlewood Isle concrete leveling job, directly addressing problems like moisture, prior bad repairs, and slab weakness found across Litchfield County. This level of scrutiny ensures no surprises affect the finished floor’s performance or the downstream construction schedule.

More About Us
Yes. Concrete Floor Leveling is part of the regular service range across Candlewood Isle and Litchfield County. USA Epoxy Floors is based in Fishkill, family operated and veteran owned, and travels throughout the area for this work.
A floor that was properly profiled and correctly specified stands up to vehicle traffic, hot tires, impact, and routine chemical contact for years. What shortens service life is almost always inadequate preparation or a system that did not match the conditions. Maintenance is sweeping and periodic wet cleaning.
It gets identified before anything is applied. Moisture vapor moving upward will lift a coating that was not built for it. Where testing shows elevated readings, a moisture-mitigating primer or vapor barrier system is specified rather than a standard build.
The floor area needs to be clear for grinding and application. Vehicles, shelving, and stored items come out ahead of the crew. On larger commercial floors the work can often be sectioned so part of the space stays operational.
Solid color, decorative flake broadcast, quartz, and metallic systems. Flake adds texture underfoot and conceals minor slab imperfections. Industrial floors often run solid color for visibility and cleaning. Samples are reviewed on site during the walkthrough.

“4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!”
“We are so happy to have discovered George Tsinias. He is humble, fun, courteous, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about adjacent trades and competent in several of them. I am delighted to give him the highest recommendation and look forward to referring him to friends and to using him again.”
