Polyurea floor installation in Bigelow Corners starts with concrete profiling, then adds a high-performance, fast-curing resin system. Floors are ready for service in hours, with chemical and impact resistance built for Bigelow Corners’s industrial, commercial, and high-use residential spaces.
Installation in Bigelow Corners begins with a thorough evaluation of concrete condition and a moisture test to screen for vapor issues common in older or below-grade construction. George Tsinias, owner of USA Epoxy Floors, selects the surface preparation method, diamond grinding or shot blasting, to achieve the correct CSP profile for polyurea, so the fast-curing resin bonds properly. Floor cracks, surface pits, and control joints are treated before coating starts. A polyurea primer and multi-layer polyurea resin are applied in sequence, with options for decorative flake, slip-resistant aggregates, or quartz for Bigelow Corners properties needing extra traction. The system cures in hours, making it ideal for busy garages, shops, or production areas. Final clear or pigmented topcoats add chemical, UV, and abrasion resistance matched to how each Bigelow Corners floor is used. USA Epoxy Floors closes every project with a detailed walkthrough, delivering fast turnaround and a durable finish for garages, warehouses, or service facilities in Litchfield County, Connecticut.

More About Us
Yes. Polyurea Floor Installation is part of the regular service range across Bigelow Corners and Litchfield County. USA Epoxy Floors is based in Fishkill, family operated and veteran owned, and travels throughout the area for this work.
A floor that was properly profiled and correctly specified stands up to vehicle traffic, hot tires, impact, and routine chemical contact for years. What shortens service life is almost always inadequate preparation or a system that did not match the conditions. Maintenance is sweeping and periodic wet cleaning.
It gets identified before anything is applied. Moisture vapor moving upward will lift a coating that was not built for it. Where testing shows elevated readings, a moisture-mitigating primer or vapor barrier system is specified rather than a standard build.
The floor area needs to be clear for grinding and application. Vehicles, shelving, and stored items come out ahead of the crew. On larger commercial floors the work can often be sectioned so part of the space stays operational.
Solid color, decorative flake broadcast, quartz, and metallic systems. Flake adds texture underfoot and conceals minor slab imperfections. Industrial floors often run solid color for visibility and cleaning. Samples are reviewed on site during the walkthrough.

“4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!”
“We are so happy to have discovered George Tsinias. He is an old school artisan and gentleman who takes pride in his work, takes every issue seriously, answers every question, and is a meticulous workman. The garage floor he did for us is stunning. He is humble, fun, courteous, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about adjacent trades and competent in several of them. I am delighted to give him the highest recommendation and look forward to referring him to friends and to using him again.”
